Better late than never!
I think it is about time I put up some more shots from the United States. I’m so glad everyone encouraged me to visit the States, I had a fabulous time and loved every excellent second of it. I’ll go back one day for sure.
Another belated thanks to Lauren for being a really wonderful host, and to Uncle Ron and Aunty Janine too. Can’t wait to see you guys (and the boys) again soon!

The USA
In Detroit now visiting Ron and Janine, it’s been fun here with a little bit of relaxing and some adventure too. Yesterday we went on an epic 600 mile drive up to see Lake Michigan which was spectacular. Thank you both so much!
I spent last week in New York staying with Lauren and her roomate Monika. I’m going back tomorrow to spend my last few days there too. It is hard to describe...
Tokyo
Tokyo has been a blast. In the few days I’ve been here I’ve learned much more about Japan and have loved experiencing the Japanese culture first hand.
I love Japan for its efficiency and convenience - even the taxi doors open automatically. Tokyo is very clean and orderly and even though there are so many people here, no matter what you do or where you need to go, it is all done...
Tokyo Bound!
I’m leaving for Tokyo tomorrow. I’m not really in the right frame of mind to put down in words how my time here has been, suffice to say it has gone by so fast, I’ve loved (most) of it all and if it wasn’t for beautiful family, friends and Australia, I’d never want to leave.
But I’m really excited to see some new places, so Tokyo and the US here I come!

Shandong Trip
Our trip to Shandong was organised through the university and pretty much every minute was devoted to touring particular places. I wasn’t too excited about being with the huge tour group (we had more than 100 people) and felt like we rushed around the whole time.
